What I Ate Wednesday #6

Good morning! Its another WIAW post and I'm going to continue posting like I have the last few weeks. Instead of posting everything I had in one day, I'm posting all the things I ate this week that caught my eye! This girl likes variety!

----What WIAW isn't about----
Comparison - Judgement - Restriction - Guilt

----What WIAW is about----
Celebrating one of the glorious things we all have in common: We all eat!

WIAW is about food and fun! It's about making new friends, breaking out of a food rut, noting changes in your diet/lifestyle, inspiring yourself & others, embracing fruit & vegetables, nourishing your body with the foods that work for you, finding new ways to eat your favorite foods, and so much more <3

wednesday i went to uni sushi with my dear friend and enjoyed these little gems.

for dinner the we made pulled beef sandwiches, diced sweet potatoes, and cucumber salad.

skinny taste's meatball and spaghetti soup {to die for} and sauteed green beans with garlic

friday we enjoyed another night of homemade pizza

saturday, on our way to fort worth we stopped by tx burger for a garden burger, my mom and i split her sweet potato fries and we ended it with some delicious blue bell ice cream. i got tin roof, soooooo good.

the healthy snacks logann & i enjoyed at the indy race.

at los vaqueros i got migas for sunday brunch.

sunday evening i took the fiance for sushi for dinner to celebrate him passing his pt test and exams for his state trooper application, he has his polygraph test this thursday

monday, the fiance wanted to use the rest of the pizza dough so he made cajun pizza. mozzarella, feta, onions, bell peppers, and cajun seasoned shrimp. very very good.

for dinner we bought black bean burgers and followed skinny taste's recipe for black bean burgers with chipotle mayo and avocados. we roasted sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower too.

yesterday, while it stormed i got a baking streak. i made itty bits of balance's peanut butter chocolate chip granola bars. i ended up making a pan for my family and a pan for someone else.

i also used my sisters cookie recipe for home made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies made with apple sauce and added walnuts.

Question:
Did you try a new recipe from a blog that you follow?
